Maps downloadable to a Garmin receiver which cover Santa Clara County Parks can be downloaded free here.
There are 2 versions available, one for use in Garmin's MapSource program and the other is a stand-alone program which uploads the desired map.  Confused on which map you need?  This explains the differences.

Santa Clara County has many parks to hike and ride.  eTrailGuide for Santa Clara County Parks will help you plan a trip by providing information on available routes and sights along the way.  You can then print a map of the area and download a map and route on to your Garmin receiver.

PC Screenshot eTrailGuide  provides a topographic map with trails superimposed. You may pan the map, selecting trails you plan on traveling. Pictures of sights and trail descriptions are provided for selected features.  The length and elevation of the planned trip can be displayed to give you an idea what is in store for you. And when you are done, you can print out the map of the area you are interested in.
